Even Warmer and Worse
Even if industrialized countries enact every ambitious climate change policy they have proposed, researchers now predict the planet will warm by 6.3 degrees - nearly double what they say is the upper limit of warming the world can support without catastrophic climate change - by the end of the century. The findings far outstrip UN climate predictions made just two years ago.

Marking its 60th anniversary, the cash-strapped UN aid agency for Palestinian refugees asked a too-often-indifferent world for more money and more pressure to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
