Author Dow Chemical - Between $300 and $500 per victim : Dow accidentally killed 20,000 in the 80's and feels really bad about it, according to this internal memo. Note: this memo may be fake, I dunno. Note 2: Fine, it's fucking fake. And not even a fake memo at that -- rather, a fake press release. blah, eat me

Good point. I thought that chain in Chicago was using BS (I cannot remember their name). One other thing, Am I the only one who thinks Bush is not just a bit simple but a mean spirited, uncaring son of a bitch, that cares only about money and power?

NEWS FLASH..... Dec 03 2002 03:25PM EST

Early this morning, armed patrols of men employed by Dow Chemicals invaded the village of Bhopal, India, and kissed every villager in sight.

"Oh, it was so unbelievable," replied one resident, "They stormed into my house, hugged all of my children, gave flowers to my wife, and then each one gave me a huge smacker right on the lips!"

The action appeared to be some sort of public relations stunt, since many of the troops were followed by American camera crews.

"We at Dow love people," said a spokesman for the corporation, "We just wuv 'em, yes we do, oh yes we DO!!"

Several hours later, many villagers were found convulsing in violent seizures with large sores breaking out on their lips.

Gas the Bastards!!! Dec 03 2002 03:38PM EST

While I enjoy sending American jobs overseas to India, I think we can all agree that Indians do not buy enough American products or services to justify their existence on this planet. I believe Dow was right to gas all of those Indians. Though Dow claims it was accidental, we all know better.

Other countries that deserve to be gassed include Iraq, Iran, Nigeria, Uruguay, Saipan, Guam, Tibet, Chad, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Madagascar, Nova Scotia, Iceland, Greenland, Estonia, and Haiti. These are countries that are either too poor, too small or just annoying enough to not matter to the US. I believe everyone in them should be dead, because they do not buy enough American goods and services.

Its amazing... Dow is actually taking credit for starting the environmental movement. But all they did was CAUSE THE POLLUTION THAT PEOPLE WERE SCREAMING ABOUT. Is that twisted? What marketing bimbo came up with that one?

I dunno.

I *do* know that the banning of DDT - a cheap, effective killer of mosquitoes - has resulted in millions of deaths in Africa over the years.

Rachel Carson, as the one who gave life to the movement to ban DDT, ranks in my mind as one of history's great mass murderers.

Basically, they said they want to shove the 15,000 people they killed under the rug in order to raise their share price. Criminal. This coming from the same people that invented and marketed Napalm. Every executive at Dow should do the world's collective genepool a favor by comitting suicide.

Shuddup dickhead! This memo is a fake you fucking tool. Take your lithium and get your ass down to Tower records and get a job.

You see, the standards for industrial and environmental safety in India were *much lower* than the USA's standards. That's why UC built the plant there - they could afford to.

If the Indian government wants their mess cleaned up they can hire Dow to do it - but if they're looking for fault - they can look in a mirror.

They did it to themselves.

I couldn't agree with you more. Sales from kissarmy.com are very low in these areas.

Did you know Kiss invented deadly chemical leaks that kill dotheads? No, really, back on the KissAlive tour in '53, Paul Stanley and I were in Bhopal for a show and we ate too much curry during the opening act. I proceeded to wet-fart all through my costume and boots and the fumes killed at least 95% of the concertgoers. We had a sold out crowd of 50,000.

Again Dec 03 2002 09:05PM EST

In keeping with the bin Laden family, the Bush family members are major stockholders in the Carlyle Group, a consortium of armaments manufacturers which profited greatly from arms sales for the Gulf War. At the conclusion of the Gulf War, Prescott Bush, Jr, (the secret ruler of America) and James Baker III, successfully negotiated multi-billion dollar reconstruction contracts with the Kuwaiti Government, on behalf of the Bush family, thus graphically demonstrating that war is financially rewarding for the few, at the expense of the many. As Nazi Reichsmarschal Hermann Goering succinctly explained to the Nuremburg War Crimes Tribunal, if a governmental hierarchy falsely instills fear of an attack, the gullible public will willingly aquiesce to the launching of an appropriate invasion against the innocent nation. Such a duplicitous ploy worked when Nazi S.S. members, dressed in Polish military uniforms, attacked a German customs post near Hochlinden, thus providing a pretext for the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany.

I know. Just like the DEA agents who put towels on their heads and crashed the planes on 9/11. Exactly.

re: Again Dec 03 2002 09:15PM EST

Nope - the US Department of Defense delegated its research arm known as the Defense Advanced Projects Agency (DARPA) to develop a black box specifically to prevent the hijacking of fly-by-wire airliners. If communication between air traffic controllers and the flight crew of such an aircraft ceases, and the aircraft deviates from its preplanned flightpath, the DARPA black box enables a covert Federal ground control facility to remotely fly the aircraft and safely land it. With the cockpit flight controls deactivated, it would be impossible for hijackers to deliberately cause the 9/11 disaster. A visual link between the ground facility and the aircraft could be accomplished by means of a Global Hawk remotely controlled surveillance aircraft. With the capability of operating at an altitude of 60,000 feet, the Global Hawk would be almost visually imperceptible to a person on the ground, in the vicinity of the World Trade Center.
