I disagree. Although I was proud
to support the event, I think it was poorly planned. For starters, my
group couldn't find the starting line (there was no signage or help
anywhere). There were timers near the 1-mile an 2-mile mark, but I
hadn't any idea when the finish line was coming up other than what my
watch told me. After the race it was crowded and you had to avoid
people from Dow handing out fliars that said they do not actually
support water conservation; that they believe humans are more important
than the environment? It was an odd thing to read. And I had to
maneuver my way through the crowd to try to get a drink of water after
the beautiful race in what was a great location pick.
So my
feelings are mixed. Hopefully they put on a better event next year
