Halliburton Co. fell victim this week to a group of pranksters pushing a "SurvivaBall" to save corporate executives from the effects of global warming.

Members of the Yes Men, a group of environmental and corporate ethics activists, gave a presentation at a trade conference pretending to be Halliburton executives touting large inflatable suits that provide corporate managers safety from global warming. They also distributed a phony press release through e-mail and set up a Web site, halliburtoncontracts.com, similar to the real Halliburton site, halliburton.com.

Mock Halliburton all you want. They could buy and sell all those who oppose them without the slightest concern. In fact, they have the power to legally execute any person or persons who openly mock them without consequence. Make fun of Halliburton and they can and will kill you and all your family, steal all your assets, sell your home to Saudi Arabia, and there is not one thing you can do about it. Suck on that Pranksters!

Hey Minny-Mike: Don't you have a job? Why don't you get your butt to work and contribute to this great Nation's economy and stop wasting moments of your finite life trolling on this site?

Halliburton provided US troops untreated water straight from the polluted Euphrates River in Iraq, how is that any different from this prank?

I guess anything that mocks the evil Halliburton is news to the HuffPo.

Who knew that pranks were now newsworthy? Let's see, the left pretty much relies on forged docs, photoshop jokes, Hollywood big-mouths, has-been musicians, and misleading headlines to make its point.

Anybody surprised?

THESE CORPORATE EXECUTIVES ARE MORE OF THE BRIGHTEST AND THE BEST. I SURE FEEL SAFE AND SECURE KNOWING THAT THESE EXECS ARE SO SMART. NO WONDER THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO STEAL TAX REVENUES TO PROP UP COMPANY PROFITS, WHICH IS WELFARE.

"prank"? you wish...try political satire, corporate subversion, performance art...the joke is on you if you don't wonder just how fine the line is between this and the real thing.
the YES MEN kick ass, and are participating in politics, instead of sitting on their fat asses lobbing criticisms from their keyboards.

minn.mike.....what you say maybe true of halibutt, but that doesn't make it right.....how does it feel to be one of the 29%? most reasonable people have seen the errors for what they actually are, I'm just wondering what your not seeing? or what you do see that is so different from that of 70% of this great country.

The Yes Men rock!

I wish I had their nerve. I would feel a lot happier making a difference like they do.

"Save yourself" is the American corporate motto -- I think they could have sold a few of those balls.

This is why we have the Patriot Act II, so that people disturbing business like the Yes Men, can be safely disposed of from a boat at sea.

THE LOYAL 29 PERCENT CLUB

CLUB PRESIDENT: SEAN HANNITY
How can you not love this guy? I don't know if it's the studio lights or what, but Sean has lots of sparkle in his eyes when he gallantly defends the commander in chief. Maybe he just has watery eyes from allergies, but I can tell you he will NEVER abandon George W. Bush.

1. You call us "BACKWASH" we call ourselves members of the country club. We are the "Haves" and if you are envious then you must be a "Have Not".

2. We prefer Ford "Super Duty" because it stands taller than any other stock pickup truck, but Dodge "Heavy Duty" is a close second place. Regardless of whether you choose Ford or Dodge, you must select a model that comes with "Cab Lights". You're not "in" unless you got the cab lights!

3. SUVs are dead. End of story. The only people driving SUVs are those pathetic wanna-bees who can't afford to upgrade to the new standard. In case you haven't heard, Ford has already shut down the SUV assembly plants.

4. We wear fitted baseball caps and name brand golf shirts. We wear Oakley sunglasses not on our eyes but on top of our fitted baseball caps.

5. We steer our Super Duty trucks not with our hands but with a single wrist draped over the steering wheel.

6. We choose our bumper stickers carefully. "UNITED WE STAND" is not our first choice. I don't understand that one. What was the South going to secede from the Union or something?

7. We prefer a single oval "W" sticker on the rear window and dual "POWER OF PRIDE" stickers on either end of the bumper. And don't tell me that "Pride" is one of the seven deadly sins.

8. We rarely get pulled over for traffic violations. Have you ever seen a Ford or Dodge luxury pickup pulled over on the side of the road for a traffic violation? My point exactly.

9. We speed and "tailgate" all the time, but the police know that if we can afford the $50,000 pickup and we can afford to put gas in the tank then we must be rushing to someplace important.

10. The rising price of gas is good for our club, because it weeds out all the "Wanna-bees" who are now running out of credit on the "Capital One" they've been using to fill up the tank.

11. We support the President 100 percent because he gives us tax breaks which create more jobs for us in the 31 percent club. If you don't believe me just take a look at the stock market. IT'S SOARING!!!

12. We live in huge gated communities and yes we can afford to heat 3000 sq ft in the winter and cool it in the summer.

I love the lib menatality: "Haliburton profits from natural disasters, BOOOOOO!" Name any other company that has the ability to perform the tasks they perform. You guys are so unbelievably funny. Is it the fact that Cheney has ties there that bugs you so? What is it, seriously...why do you guys hate any company larger than a hemp neclace factory.
