Brilliant. The simple fact that no one would ever be allowed to just say those things on ANY network, not just the putrid Newsfakes, speaks volumes about how far from honest the “mainstream” (corporate) media are.

Okay, all together now in every primary school through middle school through high school through vocational and community college in our land. Let U.S. say this as Webwalk has jotted it down from the Yes Men’s Own Wolfowitz in Greenspan clothing…

This will in no way actively dispatch with our corporate-captured news media content providing\delivery systems and structures; This action will not return Privatized Neo-Lib\Neo-CON’d Public Health and Policy processes nor banish them from our Pay2Play political system. It isn’t a plan and timeline for ending the lop-sided Financialization of our long-gone once diverse and human scaled economy. Privatization of our National Security State can end only with de-coupling from the Pay2Play politics;

Re-animating and newly commissioning the Justice Dept\FTC Law Enforcement of anything on the books to do with Anti-Competitive\Anti-Trust Law is a matter of will and watch-dogging.**

Let U.S. rise with hand held to heart and repeat after UR Paul in true Yes Human spirit.

Just watched the entire interview. Wow! When did Basile realize he was being pranked? He was obviously uncomfortable with what the Yes Men’s Wolfowitz was saying but right till the end, thanking him for his time? Wow! Brilliant and Hilarious!
Oh yeah, I think we can be proud of the Yes Men!

This is “cute” but it is a drop in the bucket to the corporate buy out of journalism. From Rachael Maddow’s fake Russia-Gate, to Chris Cuomo interviewing his bro, Faux Noise, and the war department’s NYTimes and WaPo propaganda arm, are much more dangerous. Remember, we the people own the airwaves and are deserving of better.

It’s always good to see the stupidity of the media laid bare.

Ultimately, that’s the best thing about the Yes Men - they show exactly how gullible the media can be.

Too bad it’s often the gullible media " fronts " leading the even more gullible patriotic groupthink crowd . Right down the primrose path, onto the yellowbrick road, then kindly ushering them to Lemming’s Cove and right over the cliff. Over and over again, sadly.
We’re all very vulnerable to this ongoing MSM false flag operation. It really keeps working, dang it all.

Wow.

One man’s cynicism has no way to keep up.

I wonder how long they have to wait to get Donald Rumsfield to make an announcement.

I missed the $Trillions spent on social programs that NewsMax tool disinformed his audience about.

Wolfy must have a top notch security detail. Are the taxpayers paying for it?

But it’s a clever way to get the truth out in the face of total corporate takeover of our public airways. The corporate networks and right wing politicians hire powerful (truth benders) ad agencies tasked with mind manipulation and propaganda language designed to social engineer the American masses with effective results. The truth tellers must find clever ways like Yes Men to dispel the meth and repeat lies perpetrated by agents of the right wing elite class.

Gullible” not so much. It isn’t gullibility that accounts for our corporate-captured programming so much as pliability. Pay2Play and let the media consumer beware. Snake oil blue wave media masssage.
It’s always good to see the cupidity of the U.S. mass media model laid bare. Greed is good. Wealth concentrates even while it lifts all boats

Not saying I don’t agree or find the Yes Men clever, I just don’t think the method will amount to much when compared to the monstrous problem of all the major networks having ex-war mongers on as “experts” and major newspapers running their op-eds. You can see ex-General Betray Us on every news channel but Cindy Sheehan, Chris Hedges, or Medea Benjamin are nowhere to be found. NYTimes even ran an op-ed from our favorite fighter pilot, Amy McGrath (via Brookings), on how the Afghan War was a net positive.
