Get A McDonald's Happy Meal For Every Third Stop And Frisk! (Wink!)

In an obvious parody that we really wish was real, a website claiming to be affiliated with McDonald's and the NYPD is promising a free Happy Meal for every person who is stopped and frisked three times without charges. All you gotta do is print out the voucher below, and jot down the officer's badge number every time you're stopped. Once you hit the magic number, bring the voucher to any McDonald's and exchange it for your delicious prize! Mmmm, who knew the police state could be so tasty! In this video, a man claiming to be a McDonald's manager explains how the "Three Strikes, You're In!" offer came to be:

"'Stop and Frisk’ gets dozens of guns off the streets each year, makes respectable citizens feel secure, and lets would-be criminals know that we’re watching them,” said NYPD Commissioner "Ray Kelly" in a statement which, again, is obviously a parody. “It generates some resentment in these low-income communities, since most of those stopped are innocent, but with the help of McDonald’s, we’re showing we understand. We can’t afford to change ‘Stop and Frisk,’ but we’re happy to compensate those who are stopped in the course of keeping the City safe."

We really hope someone tries exchanging one of these vouchers at an area McDonald's and documents the encounter! Last month, Councilmember Jumaane Williams proposed a law that would require every officer who stops and frisks someone without making an arrest to give out a business card with his name, rank and unit. (At press time, it was unclear if NYPD officers are also eligible for the "Three Strikes You're In!" deal)

When I first came to this country I used to set up my cart on 125 street. 90% of the people who live in the area are black. That being said I was robbed twice in a short span of 3 months. Every time I was robbed i was taken on a ride in a police car looking for the black kids who robbed me. The police were not looking for a white, Asian or Spanish men but instead black men. Should they be blamed for stopping black men instead of others? No! The fact of the matter is that in an area where the people are mostly black and where the criminals are a make up of the area it only makes sense that the people being stopped are black. Some people just want to complain about everything no matter the consequences. This is a main reason I now operate a food cart downtown and not uptown.

Interesting concept. You say I am afraid of black people when in fact I am afraid of the black hooligans in Harlem. You go about life thinking that is is racist to say that 90% the crime in Harlem is committed by the 90% that live there which so happens to be black. Amazing how your Lilly white buttocks continues to turn a blind eye to the facts. When i got mugged in Harlem I did not back away from the description in fear of hurting some higher racist power. The people that robbed me were black....I am a person of color but not African American. Am I afraid of teh black youth in Harlem.....YES! Why? because it is logistically sound to conclude that i will be mugged by a black person in Harlem and not a white person. If you do not see the facts then you are a naive twit who needs to find a better venue of education instead of community colleges.

It is you who live in a fantasy world. A world where you get mugged by a black person but instead of pointing out to the police who did it you purposefully leave out details like his race in order to make you feel better. And for the maybe 2-3 black kids that robbed you, hundreds will be stopped who have committed no crime. Did all of those people do something wrong for just being black? When you were sitting in the car, did you remember their height? Their build? The shape of their head & the size of their nose? Their approximate age? Or were they just black? A 16 year usually doesn't look like a 35 year old, but of course they will be stopped just the same.

Yes I remember their description and as a result I think 7 people fitting the description were stopped and rightfully so. Should they have been ignored just because you think their civil rights would be violated. Maybe all police officers should only stop one person of color and call it quits for the night. 7 people were stopped for the crime perpetrated by you. Most people are stopped just for being black or hispanic with no crime involved. I have seen it with my own eyes. It has nothing to do with civil rights. It has to do with quotas and stigmas. American law is skewed at best and here is an example I lived. When I was in Harlem my food cart was robbed some local residents. Keep in mind that Harlem is about 90% black so it is within good reason that the people being stopped were going to be black. Hell, the people that mugged me were black. In the process if being robbed I was called all sorts of bias names from Rag head to dirty Muslim terrorist to camel jockey. I stated this to the police but nowhere in the report does it reflect these statements. I was in shock that the bias crime went unreported but then again this is what is wrong with America today. A few months back a fight broke out downtown between a group of whites and a group of blacks and the white folk called the black folk names. OMG! Suddenly lady justice sprung into action and the white folk who were most likely the victims were charged with bias crimes as well as assault.WHY IS THIS? Well America is so guilty about its slave history that it seems to be trying to make amends in present day by victimizing the victim twice. This all strikes me of a mutated version of affirmative action This is why this country is doomed. It is confused and has a split personality. This is a country where a black youth can call another black youth "N*GGER" and it is cool but if a white person does the same he is held accountable to the full extent of the law. The double standards of this country are appalling at best.
