The
Yes Men are back in town and they're promising to wreak mischief in
Berlin. New film from the merry pranksters The Yes Men Fix The World,
which screened at Sundance and is opening this year's Berlin Panorama,
has been picked up for international sales by Rezo. Directed
by Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonnano, the documentary follows the daring
political antics of two gonzo activists determined to expose the greed
and selfishness of the world's most powerful multi-national
corporations. Cinetic is handling North America while Rezo is selling the rest of the world. Showing
its eclectic tatse, Rezo is also representing Jean-Paul Liliefeld's
Skirt Day, which marks Isabelle Adjani's return to the screen. The
French actress plays a teacher who takes her students hostage. Adjani
is expected in Berlin to support the film, screening in Panorama. Rezo
will be releasing the film itself in France in March. All other rights
are available. Meanwhile, Rezo is also handling Andrey
Kravchuk's Russian epic The Admiral, which has racked up $38 million at
the Russian box-office. Based on a true story, it unfolds in 1917, as
revolution rages and Admiral Koltchak, leading the White Army to
Siberia, has to confront turmoil in his personal life. On the eve
of Berlin, Rezo has been continuing to rack up sales on Frozen River.
