1. There's nothing wrong with being effette, Mike. And there are things to like about your movie - I just wasn't that fond of it. Given the massive critical support you've received, I'm prepared to admit I'm in the minority. But as I'm sure you'd agree, dissenting voices are important. 2. I'm one half of the "effete" duo that head up The Yes Men. In response to the review written by Richard Luck: It's kind of refreshing to see something negative finally about this film, but the review gets so much wrong it makes me wonder if the reviewer even watched it! There are lots of things to take issue with in the film but saying that Dow's share price fall might have resulted in people losing jobs? Good luck explaining that one, Peter! The share price may have fallen but it bounced back immediately. We know that some people love to imagine that we leave a trail of innocent, powerless victims in our wake: but that delusion should come to an end swiftly if you actually try to find the people wronged by our actions. We know this - becasue we have tried! We were welcomed with open arms by our so-called "victims" in Bhopal... and we're still working with them today. (Check out www.bhopalwater.com for some recent action). This is the first bad review we have gotten for this film. We wish it was smart as well as bad. But don't trust me- go see it for yourself!
