Kids don't have to wait until twilight to go trick-or-treating! Fall Frolic
at Glen Echo Park runs Oct. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. and includes
trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting and a costume parade. The

The Week of Nov. 6

The following exhibitions open next week: "Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition 2009," opening Oct. 23 at the National Portrait Gallery, features the work of contemporary portraitists competing for a top prize of $25,000. 202-633-1000 (TDD: 202-633-5285). "Falnama: The Book of Omens," opening Oct. 24 at the Arthur M.
