The Yes Men Fix The World - P2P Edition

Media Type: Movie
Director The Yes Men

Description:

THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD is a screwball true story about two gonzo political activists who, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks. This peer-to-peer special edition of the film is unique: it is preceded by an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO of the Yes Men impersonating the United States Chamber of Commerce. Because the Yes Men are being sued for this stunt, p2p is the only way that this film will get seen. Please spread the word!

I have not watched this yet and am wondering if I should.

What I do not like is that they are pro climate change policy. I'm not 100% sure that they are but thats what it looks like, no support from me then.

I thought they may have been making fun of the fail that is global warming. But nope.

When you say "pro climate change policy" what do you mean? Is that like a Hummer I saw with a bumper sticker that said "I support global warming" ?

Are you saying that that you you don't believe the evidence that the temperature of the earth is rising. Or, with your "fail" comment, are you implying that global warming is slowly causing worldwide failure?

I am against global warming as well ...

Plays just fine with anything that has Xvid available, by the selection of players you listed you seem to have done you're share of filesharing, are you also one of the people yelling "fake" on tracker sites at every other release that appear to work just fine for everyone else?
You might want to verify the download data, stop using BT client/OS/network drivers/ISP/whatever that breaks files, and/or generally just get a clue.

Works fine in my VLC, I suggest you check your download for corruption.
If you're using µtorrent, you can do so by stopping the torrent, right clicking its name and selecting force recheck.
If it stops at something other than 100%, your download was corrupt, hope this helps.

I had some issues using my old CCCP, so I downloaded the new one, and had no problem playing this with MPC Homecinema. Have you enabled .avi in your settings panel?

My husband and I thought this film was WONDERFUL! We're not quite as leftist as you guys seem to be, but overall, we were very impressed at the way you exposed these greedy douchebag companies to the entire world. You guys are BRILLIANT! Keep it up and don't let the bastards get you down.

I'll go straight to www.theyesmen.org/lab and think of another donation there too.

People are cowards, struggling to achieve change peacefully is impossible. No distinct difference in one entity or another can be achieved without the initial destruction of said entity. War is the only way. That is exactly why humanity's history is frought with violence.

Only people unable (or unwilling) to use their given intelligence cry for war to solve problems. The Yes Men demonstrate there is another way.

So sad that every day a little part of me dies and admits that you are probably right. I hope for humanity's sake your either wrong or were destroyed as the abominations of virus that we are before we inevitably spread outwards to different planets. (maybe thinking too far ahead there)

.....i was amazed at the beginning..........and completely ecstatic at the end. A genius film that poses serious questions at the world today....but at the same time exposes the inhumanity of the political world in a very comedic way. Gentlemen i applaud and thank you, for you have inspired me.
