The Yes Men Fix The World - P2P Edition

Media Type: Movie
Director The Yes Men

Description:

THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD is a screwball true story about two gonzo political activists who, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks. This peer-to-peer special edition of the film is unique: it is preceded by an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO of the Yes Men impersonating the United States Chamber of Commerce. Because the Yes Men are being sued for this stunt, p2p is the only way that this film will get seen. Please spread the word!

Thank you for legally allowing us to have dibs on your new movie. I am unemployed and gave a donation to Church, otherwise if this movie is as good as it sounds I feel $5.00 would be a fair donation if I could. Nevertheless thank you from the very poor people out here. I would love to hear more about your lawsuit. After all that Saturday Night Live gets away with doing to public people, I can not imagine you losing the case based on what you have told us. -Peace.

To the Writers/Producers:

I just got done watching it, and even though I might not agree 100% with your political views, I love how you bluffed so many people, especially the national politicians and media! I would say you have out foxed Michael Moore at his own style of movie making. Where Michael Moore would only get so far because he clearly appears out of place in professional settings you guys come off very professional and intelligent. It's amazing to me how you bluffed so many high level government and media people for sooo long, and then when discovered you actually would come back and explain WHY you felt the need to draw attention to things you obviously feel is very important. I was reminded of Michael Moore's style all the way through it, however your movie seems more to the political middle and not totally far out left wing comedy, imho. I'm sure others will disagree with my description though. However, I must say I can see now why you got sued. I suppose it could of been worse if each private company that you pretended to work for was to sue. So, in a way, you might of got off good. I think they just don't want to see you make any money off this film in fear it will inspire many others to pose as high level executives for very large companies and further embarrass them. After all, they can normally spot Michael Moore 5 miles away and they seem to hate the guy with all their mite- I often wonder how he stayed out of legal trouble with his actions in some flicks. It was funny.

great pice of work guys!
the film realy dose highlight how big buisness cares more about money than it dose about people.
this flim merly points out how big corperations anti climate change messures are more about profit than about saving people .what realy got me is how the som of the media made the yes men out to be bad people .it really is unfortunate that people must do these things to highlight the sad state were in.
keep up the good work guys,it sertainly made me feel better for awhile : )

This film has true power. I remember felling so depressed before watching it, for a number of reasons. I'm from Colombia, a nation that's been basically under foreign control since the 1900s. Worse of all, willingly. our corrupt government loves to profit from our terrorist guerilla wars and, the free trade moguls love it. It's crazy. SO after a couple of news headlines i was about run away from the internet when i found this. By the end I felt inspired. The people in power are clueless and you show us. Get em! I'd donate if i could.

Great, really enjoyed watching this. Can't believe I didn't hear about the yes men before with the chaos they seem to cause in big time mass media.
