The Yes Men Fix The World - P2P Edition

Media Type: Movie
Director The Yes Men

Description:

THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD is a screwball true story about two gonzo political activists who, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks. This peer-to-peer special edition of the film is unique: it is preceded by an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO of the Yes Men impersonating the United States Chamber of Commerce. Because the Yes Men are being sued for this stunt, p2p is the only way that this film will get seen. Please spread the word!

Brilliant! It reminded me of the early Michael Moore movies, with more humor and silliness. The gay backdrop running gag is priceless!!!

Brilliant, funny and sad; but such is life. I'd like to give you both a big hug for what you're doing. We've come a long way since Machiavelli; much more complex systems for lying, but as the world gets 'smaller' the deceit becomes more apparent. One criticism, its a little naive in not recognizing that Obama is 'business as usual' and is not there by mistake or indeed good fortune. Still, keep up the good work.

Muy buena película, gracias por compartir ésto. Algo que me sorprendió es la facilidad con la que se puede engañar a mucha gente. ;-)

I watched about half of it. While I love you are actively engaging people in a very unique way, I do not espouse to your views and could not even finish watching Fix the World. Your views are way to liberal. I am all for the environment and corporate responsibility, but you guys are way more left-of-center than I can support. Thanks for keeping these things in the publics eye, though!

These guys need to take a good look at this series of films. Many people don't hold with the credibility of the Church Of Scientology, however the anthology is very acurate and entirely verifiable.

Hit "continue" at the end of each film. It takes a couple of hours to view the entire collection and the sidebar info. Well worth the effort for anyone who wants to see the reality of political medicine with the veils removed.

The Public Health consortium is using the World Health Organizations full resources in plain sight to illicit consumer fraud of massive proportions.

There is a long time discussion of international participants found at Dr Michael Siegal's blog the fact base within is a researchers dream.

I've seen this movie earlier when the german-french TV station Arte showed it, and I am still thrilled about the whole idea. You Yes Men are great, and the movie comes along like something written bei Brecht, directed by Beuys (or vice versa) and starring the Marx Brothers. :-) It's civil courage, it's art and it's anarchistic fun! And it screams participation all over! What more can you ask for?
Reminded me of my wish to get in contact with you guys.

PS
Please(!!!) think about offering subtitles -- you should have at least french and german ones available from the Arte airing, don't you?
I can think of several people who'd be in love with this, but would not be able to watch the movie because they don't speak english well enough.

I totally don't agree with some of The Yes Men's opinions. Better yet, you can say that I'm a rightist. But this is an excellent genius movie! Both funny and yet, make you think about their points, and personally, I do agree with some.
